Pull up a chair and join me for coffee as we discuss writing, books, and the crazy happenings of a writer’s life.
And by crazy I mean. . . Well, you’ll find out.
You’ve been stranded on a deserted island with a solitary novel. The book is. . . The Bishop by Steven James. *hugs autographed copy*
If you could bring one of your characters to life, you would choose. . . Taslor Nightshade. I won’t ask anything about her past, which is the first key to surviving contact with her.
Your dream vacation would be. . . A month in Ireland. A year. A lifetime. Just. Get. Me. There.
You would give your last $5 for. . . A notebook. I lose my senses over the smell of fresh paper.
Two items always on your desk are. . . A five-inch binder stuffed with six years’ worth of research and an oversized notebook. I’m not sure why my desk is tilting. . . .
You find writing time by. . . Skimping on sleep. When I’m in the writing zone, I’ll stay up all night, which means I’m a Zombie by the time morning rolls around. *staggers toward the coffeepot*
Your favorite place to write is. . . The-coffee-shop-that-shall-not-be-named. It is a tiny corner of Europe in a small Southern town.
Your next project is. . . A book. I know that may be a surprise to some. . . *winks*
